I HATE GANNETT

Tried for THREE WEEKS to do a hold for an upcoming vacation. Kept getting an error message (thank God I am doing this well in advance!). Sat on hold at the 1-800 number for over an hour, finally hung up. Chat has not worked for two weeks as well. Today I finally found an email address and sent them a "newspaper hold request". They proceeded to tell me that I do not get the actual paper, just a digital copy. Argued for SIX EMAILS that in fact I do get a hard copy. I finally said cancel me, and they then argued that I cannot cancel as I am on auto pay. Seriously??? How do they stay in business? I HATE GANNETT (but at least I am no longer a customer!)

Gannett - Poor delivery service

Gannett wants to sell subcsriptions to disabled customers but can't deliver the papers in a manner so the customer is able to retrieve their paper. If you are disabled and unable to walk to the street then Gannett will take your money knowingly that they can't accommodate you. This is a violation of disabled customers rights. If youboffer a service to disabled people the you have to accommodate. There needs to be an ADA complaint filed with the Department of Justice.
